Board types

Three constructions, one process discipline.

Raw material comes from certified vendors only. Our specifications can be customised to your requirement — tell us the constraint and we will confirm it in writing before the order.

Finished circuit boards packed in moulded blister trays ready for despatch.

Single-sided PCB

One track layer, one mask layer, legend on either side. The economical choice for lighting, power and high-volume consumer boards. Produced in-house.

Macro view of a multilayer board showing copper surface-mount components and printed reference designators.

Multilayer PTH

Plated-through-hole multilayer construction for dense, impedance-controlled designs — 4 mil track and gap, 0.25 mm finished holes, full electrical test.

Aluminium metal-core PCB used for high-power LED thermal management.

Metal-core (aluminium)

Aluminium-clad boards that move heat out of high-power LEDs and switching devices, with 1–3 oz copper and thermal-aware pad design.

Technical specification

The process window, in full.

Standard capability for single and double-sided work. Higher layer counts run through vetted partners to the same documented process — ask us for the specific stack-up you need.

All dimensions finished unless stated. Tolerances confirmed per order.

Data requirements

Get the files right and we never call you.

Almost every delay in fabrication traces back to ambiguous data. This is the checklist our CAM engineers work to.

We need Gerber 274X and an Excellon drill file. Please avoid 274D — if it is all you have, send the aperture file with it.

Double-sided

Layers required

  • Two track layers — top and bottom
  • Two mask layers — top and bottom
  • Legend print — top and bottom

Single-sided

Layers required

  • One track layer — top or bottom
  • One mask layer — matching the track layer
  • Legend print — top, bottom, or both

Always include

  • Drill drawing, with PTH, NPTH and slot sizes defined
  • Mechanical, routing or profile layer
  • NC drill file in Excellon format
  • Any special layers — gold tab, carbon, peel-off, paste

Two rules that save days

Name your layers plainly. A readable layer name or a short readme means nobody has to guess which copper is which.

Never mirror a layer. A PCB is viewed from the top down through the board — the industry standard. Text on the top side (copper, mask, legend) should read normally; text on the bottom side should read mirrored.
